At Highcroft we pride ourselves on employing the very best staff to provide your pets with exceptional care. This month we are delighted to celebrate some exciting achievements for two members of the Highcroft team; administration apprentice, Chloe Cross and internal medicine vet, Catherine Bovens.

Star Apprentice

Congratulations to Chloe Cross who has been shortlisted as a finalist of the Bristol and Bath “Outstanding Apprentice of the Year” Awards!

Chloe joined Highcroft in 2013 under the Apprentice Scheme and is based at our Longwell Green Veterinary Centre. She works closely with the Practice Manager, Julie White, and supports all the administrative tasks 'behind the scenes' of this busy branch.

Julie White, who nominated Chloe, describes her as one of the best people she’s ever worked with and a great asset to the practice. “Chloe is always happy and helpful, fantastic with clients, works on her own initiative and seems to be wise beyond her 17 years. She gets on with everyone and, no matter what is thrown at her, she always does a first class job.”

Chloe has been invited to an awards evening at the Bristol City Centre Marriott Hotel on June 18 when they will announce the winners. Good luck Chloe and well done.

European Specialist

At the beginning of this year, Catherine Bovens travelled all the way to Germany to complete her final exams to become a European Specialist. She passed with flying colours and has qualified as a European Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine. Catherine works alongside renowned Internal Medicine Specialist, Kate Murphy, which means that we now have one of the best Internal Medicine referral services in the South West.
