Do you buy your pet a Christmas present?

Thursday, November 26, 2015

Wondering what to get your four-legged friend for Christmas? Guest blogger, Olive, tells us what she’d like in her doggy stocking this year.

Hi my name’s Olive, I’m a one year old Pug x Jack Russell and my mummy works at Highcroft Vets. She loves to spoil me so I've written her a list of top five Christmas presents that I really need. After all, I have been a very good girl this year .....

1. Toys, toys, toys – I love toys and there a whole wall of them in Reception at Highcroft. I don't mind which one I get, I love them all.

2. Christmas outfit – my brother Alfie wears a Christmas jumper every year on Christmas Day. I'd like one too. I’ve tried on a few and this hoody is definitely my favourite. I've seen some great Christmas scarves and hats too…

3. Pet Head Shampoo – Not all dogs enjoy a bath but I think they’re really fun. My favourite shampoo is from the Pet Head Collection, they smell really yummy and the bubbles don’t hurt my eyes.

4. Treats - I’m pretty greedy and I love treats. My favourites are Schmakos and the really chewy Harringtons ones that also clean my teeth. I've also spotted a stocking filled with goodies!
5. Collar and tag – I'd really like a fancy new collar - I have a harness for my walkies but it's a legal requirement to wear an identification tag, which is a great excuse to have a fancy collar too.

Presents for cats?

I’d like to get a present for my best friend Dolly. She’s a Siamese cat who loves toys and keeps stealing mine. I noticed a Kitty Advent Calendar and some Catnip Christmas Puddings that I could get for her.

There are so many things that I could ask for and I'm so excited. Highcroft has lots of christmas goodies for sale. Come and have a look around, I’m sure I could help you pick out a few things.

Merry Christmas everybody!

Love from Olive xxx’
