Pet of the Month - Megan

Tuesday, March 03, 2015

It's with heavy hearts that we announce our March Pet of the Month - Megan Murphy :(

Poor Megan bravely beat her battle with leptospirosis, only to find out she also had cancer. Her owner, Harriet, nominated her as loving tribute.

“I would like to nominate Megan for Pet of the Month as a tribute to a wonderful dog who sadly lost the battle last Sunday after bravely fighting lepto thanks to Helen and your fabulous team!, but sadly found she had secondary cancer.

We thought it would be a fitting tribute to a wonderful dog who stole the hearts of everyone she met including your staff at the Whitchurch branch even if she did make a racket whilst in isolation.
She will be sadly missed by our whole family. R.I.P Megan xx”

Rest in Peace Megan with love from us all at Highcroft x

We have many extraordinary patients at Highcroft and we love for other pet owners to hear their stories. If you’d like to make a nomination for Pet of the Month, post a picture of your pet to our Facebook page and explain why you’re making the nomination.
