Pet of the Month - Olly

Monday, February 09, 2015

Congratulations to Olly Simmons who is our Pet of the Month for February! Olly is a gorgeous Pomeranian who is one of our oldest clients and a grand old lady of 16 years old.

Olly was rescued from a small rescue centre in France. Her French name was Olympe (French for Olympia) which Mrs Simmons shortened to Olly.

Mrs Simmons puts Olly's ripe old age down to the fact that Olly loves raw carrots and has one daily. She sits and watches her owners in the kitchen until she gets one! Despite having a heart murmur, arthritis and cataracts to name just a few, Olly doesn’t look or act her age.

Well done Olly!

We have many extraordinary patients at Highcroft and we love for other pet owners to hear their stories; so if you’d like to make a nomination for Pet of the Month, post a picture of your pet to our Facebook page and why you’re making the nomination.
