Isabel Heal
Veterinary Surgeon

Isabel qualified from Bristol Veterinary School in 1994 and joined Highcroft in 1998 and works at our Whitchurch and Brislington surgeries.

She has a special interest in Dermatology and runs regular clinics for pets with skin complaints. Isabel has a Post-graduate General Practitioner Certificate in Dermatology.


Kirstie Smith
Head Receptionist

Kirstie joined Highcroft in June 2014 as a receptionist and administrator initially based at our Whitchurch Hospital and Surgery. In 2015 Kirstie took over the role of liaising with all our new clients, welcoming them to the practice and helping them with any queries they may have.

In 2017 Kirstie became Head Receptionist at our Brislington surgery where she looks after clients and their pets, supports the vets and ensures the smooth running of the practice.

Kirstie has two guinea pigs called Crunchie and Galaxy and enjoys walking and gardening on her allotment.


Julie Brodie
Practice Manager - Longwell Green area branches

Julie is Practice Manager for our Longwell Green, Keynsham, Stockwood and Brislington surgeries. She first joined Highcroft in February 2014 and gained hands on experience in many of our branch surgeries in the lead up to becoming our Head Receptionist at Shirehampton Village Vets. In Jan 2015, Julie took on the role of Head of Reception, responsible for all the receptionists across the group.

Julie has a Westie who is 'very spoilt'. In her spare time Julie enjoys dining out, cinema and reading.


Rebecca Morse
Dog Groomer

Rebecca joined Highcroft in November 2016 as a groomer at our Wick Road, Brislington grooming salon. She has a Border Collie called Ozzie who is 5 years old.

In her spare time she enjoys yoga, reading and dog walking.
