Isabel Heal
Veterinary Surgeon

Isabel qualified from Bristol Veterinary School in 1994 and joined Highcroft in 1998 and works at our Whitchurch and Brislington surgeries.

She has a special interest in Dermatology and runs regular clinics for pets with skin complaints. Isabel has a Post-graduate General Practitioner Certificate in Dermatology.


Amie Britton
RVN, Pet Health Councellor (PHC)
Veterinary Nurse

Amie joined us in June 2015 having qualified as a veterinary nurse from Bristol University in September 1999. Amie is dedicated to running our nurse clinics at main Whitchurch hospital and surgery but also visits our Ashton, Brislington, and Stockwood surgeries. She enjoys consulting, meeting owners and their pets and is able to give advice on areas such as diet, husbandry and welfare. Outside of work, Amie is married with two children and enjoys walks in the countryside and camping. She has a Level 2 in British Sign Language and also enjoys eating out and a large glass of wine! 


Vim Kumaratunga
BVSc CertVOphthal MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon

Vim qualified from Bristol University in 2005 and hasn't left Bristol since! He worked at another large practice in Bristol for almost 5 years before joining Highcroft in January 2011.  Vim gained the RCVS Certificate in Ophthalmology in 2012 and runs first and second opinion eye clinics at our Whitchurch hospital and surgery.

He also has a strong interest in Exotic Species Medicine and runs first opinion clinics for exotic pets at our Whitchurch and Brislington surgeries. He is involved with many animal welfare charities in his native Sri Lanka and is also keen to contribute to the education of future generations of vets, both in the UK and in Sri Lanka. He is keen on educating and informing the public on animal health issues through the media.


Kim Davis
Senior Receptionist

Kim joined Highcroft in 2005 as the main receptionist and auxiliary nurse at our Brislington surgery.

Kim is also a Hill's Pet Nutrition Counsellor offering advice to our clients on the appropriate diet for their pet's age and lifestyle and making sure that the surgery is fully stocked with appropriate pet accessories and consumables.

Kim has been nominated by clients for the Veterinary Receptionist of the Year awards for the last five years.


Carol Dallimore

Carol joined us in 2010 as a part time receptionist at Stockwood, looking after the clients and their pets and helping the vets in surgery.  Carol is based at our Eastville Veterinary Centre and also works at our Brislington surgery.

Outside of work Carol enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons and their dog Belle.


Erika Grace

Erica joined Highcroft in 2004 as an evening and weekend receptionist at our Whitchurch hospital and surgery.
She has since transferred to our Brislington surgery to work with Kim Davis.
