Free clinics and advice
We provide these Free clinics to give you as much time as you need to discuss your pet's general health, or a more specific concern, in a relaxed atmosphere, either at the surgery or, for a small fee, at home.
Many of our clients appreciate this support and the opportunity to bring their pet in for free checks and advice. Our popular clinics are
- Flea and worm control (including help with administering treatments)
- Weight watchers (for pets of all ages)
- Older pet checks (over 8 years of age)
- Ante-natal checks (before or during pregnancy)
- Diabetes support
- Ear cleaning
- Dental checks (all ages)
- New puppy and kitten care
- Adolescent health checks (6 months of age)
- Post-operative checks
- Stitch removal
- Bereavement counselling
However, as a general rule, if you have any non-urgent concerns our fully qualified veterinary nurse will be very happy to see you.
These clinics are held on weekdays at our most of our surgeries.
To book an appointment please contact your surgery.
FREE ADVICE LINE - 01275 832410
Strictly Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm, for Highcroft clients only
It's not always appropriate, or practical, to see the vet just because your pet seems a little off-colour or is behaving strangely - on the other hand, the last thing we want is for you to be sitting at home worrying.
For this reason we have an Advice Line for you to call between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, to discuss any minor concerns you may have about your pet, or to ask for routine pet care advice.
The Advice Line is run by our NURSE CLINICS team. They are highly experienced in small animal health care and fully qualified to advise you on any concerns you may have.
PLEASE NOTE, if your pet has been injured, is in shock or needs urgent attention, please contact your surgery as usual.
