Office and Support Staff
Sue Davies
Office Manager and Telephonist
Sue joined Highcroft in 1999 as a highly experienced receptionist and telephonist within the medical profession.
Sue has the complex and unenviable task of organising the veterinary staff and producing their rotas.
She is also one of the first people to help clients on the telephone at our Whitchurch hospital and surgery, answering general enquiries, booking appointments and directing them to the appropriate people.
June Long
Telephonist
June joined Highcroft as a telephonist January 2008.
As well as answering the telephone at our Whitchurch Hospital and Surgery, June prepares all various information packs and goody bags for our clients.
Nicky Peters
Pet Insurance Advisor
Nicky joined Highcroft in June 1999, initially as a receptionist at our Whitchurch surgery. Since then she has qualified as a Pet Insurance Advisor with Pet Plan and now, along with Angela Simms, runs our Pet Insurance Department.
That means that Nicky costs up all the claims for our vets and deals with any queries that clients may have related to their pet insurance, whether it is to do with a claim or a query about their policy.
Angela Sims
Pet Insurance Advisor
Angela joined Highcroft in 1996 as a receptionist at our Whitchurch surgery.
However, in October 2000, due to a substantial increase in the number of clients with pet insurance policies, Highcroft set up its own Insurance Department, with Angela helping to deal with all the claims.
Angela qualified as a Pet Insurance Advisor in 2002 and now runs the Insurance Department at our Stockwood branch surgery, along with Nicky Peters. Between them they help both our vets and our clients with their insurance claims and, where permitted, liaise on their behalf with insurance company.
Kathryn Pool
Accounts Manager
Kathryn joined the practice in 1990 and is our second longest serving member of staff.
She looks after our accounts department and helps with the computer systems.
Brian Jacobs
Ambulance Driver
Brian joined Highcoft in 2005 as our ambulance driver, and also to help out with the general maintenance of our practices.
As our ambulance driver Brian collects and delivers pets for our clients, as necessary, and transports them between surgeries comfortably and safely.
He also transports equipment and supplies between surgeries and, on request, delivers large volumes of pet food to our clients' homes.
