BVA Eye Scheme
Breeders can now come to Highcroft for hereditary eye disease screening
Veterinary Ophthalmologist, Jim Carter BVetMed DVOphthal MRCVS, is now a panellist for the British Veterinary Association Eye Scheme.
This means that breeders can bring their dogs to him to test for hereditary diseases and that, as an appointed panellist, he can issue official certificates.
The scheme, otherwise known as Eye Scores, checks for 11 different hereditary diseases on 50 breeds of dog.
To book an appointment with Jim Carter, please contact our Stockwood surgery on 01275 830000.
