Scruffles Stout

Beautiful Scruffles was nominated by her owner, Denice, who says she is incredibly proud of her! In January poor Scruffles lost one of her cagemates and a week later she was diagnosed with a bladder stone in her urethra which was then surgically removed.

After the surgery Scruffles had diarrhea on and off for weeks. She was anorexic and eventually contracted Interstitial Cystitis. After months of force-feeding, medication and battling weight-loss, Scruffles has now fully recovered.

Denice says "Well done Scruffles, my lovely fat cuddle bear who keeps my sanity intact in moments of stress. You're one strong lady!"
