Home Visits
Our dedicated Home Visiting Service is especially for those clients who would prefer not to bring their animals to the surgery.
If you have transport difficulties, multiple pets, nervous pets that don't like to travel, small children and busy schedules, our team is happy to visit.
Consultations and treatments are held in the calm and relaxed comfort of your own home.
Run by a veterinary surgeon and a veterinary assistant, our home visiting vehicle is fully customized to carry all the medical equipment that might be required to assess and treat your pet, as well as a mini pharmacy and detailed records of your pet's medical history.
If your pet requires further investigation, treatment or hospitalisation, our home visiting vehicle is fitted with secure and comfortable pet carriers so that we can bring them back to our Veterinary Hospital and Surgery in Whitchurch.
Hours & Appointments
The service is run on an appointment basis, Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4pm. To book an appointment please call our Whitchurch hospital and surgery on 01275 832410. (We do ask for 24 hours' notice where possible so that we can plan our route). If you need to cancel an appointment please inform the practice as soon as possible.

Surgical procedures will require treatment at our Wells Road branch.
Fees
The fees for the Home Visiting Service are the same as those for the branches.
We do, however, charge a small call-out fee to cover our time and transportation costs. This will vary according to the distance our team needs to travel in order to reach you.
Please note that we will only charge a single call our fee whether you have one pet or several pets that you would like us to see, and there is no extra charge for transporting your pet back to the surgery if required.
